MOVXAM: A Digital, Quantified Movement Mobility Pattern Analysis
MOVXAM is a human movement analysis system. With a single camera (iPad) recording, it provides digital and waveforms of human movement Patterns. Designed Modules analyze fine and gross movements of hands, feet, arms, legs, coordination, balance, posture, and gait. It is an added supplemental tool for assessing physical skill, attention to movement control, mobility, agility, and dexterity.
System Features
Designed exemplary motor movement models for exercise training and digital analysis.
Digital data objectively evaluates movement performance with an individual's self-controlled attention, consistency, and endurance. Quantified data evaluates and traces the exercise and performance progress.
Video files of movement performance are recorded easily with an iPad, iPhone, or any digital camera. Sensor-less tracing of recorded movement is a turning point feature.
Submitting a remote-recorded video file is friendly.
Visionary Graphic Display with Automatic Waveform Amplitudes (Prominences), Duration, and Frequency Analysis.
Spectrum analysis is an option, with signal processing providing wavelet display, digital wavelet peaks, and frequency graphs for researchers and clinicians.
Customizable Reports.
FDA Cleared As a Non-Medical Devise.
Requirement of MOVXAM
Reimbursement Suggestion: CPT code:
iPad 5 above.
Personal Computer, Windows 7 above.
Black recording background, 8x8 banner.
Foot module: a footstool with white paper or white cloth cover on the ground.
Gait: Checkered black and white rug.
Spectrum analysis is an option, with signal processing providing wavelet display, digital wavelet peaks, and frequency graphs for researchers and clinicians.
MOVXAM operates the hands and feet movement module at 8ft. x 8ft recording space. For gait analysis, it operates best in a 12ft. x 12ft. room to accommodate full stride and gait analysis, though a three-step recording can easily be completed in as small as an 8ft. x 8 ft. space.
97750-physical performance test and measurement, typically, will be 5 minutes for each unilateral module with spending face-to-face interview plus digital data analysis. Bilateral modules will be 10 minutes. The practitioner can bill 6-8 units per patient per day. Up to 8 units a day.
Chronic care CPT code: 99490 for remote home video file analysis.
